Topics such as
plant closings, mergers and relocations, joint labor/management issues,
project labor agreements, sexual harassment, health care, arbitration and
mediation as well as labor law updates focusing on current NLRB, PERB and
FMCS developments are just some examples of the programs that have been

Day of Caring
This was our first year
participating in the United Way Day of Caring. Our project was to assist
in packaging books for children for
Project Flight, which collects and
distributes books to children in need and also provides volunteers to
assist children in learning to read. Many thanks to Executive Board
Member, Susan Meyer, for suggesting and coordinating this event. Please
