BUFFALO CONTROL BOARD: ONE YEAR LATER
It is now more than a
year that the Buffalo Fiscal Stability Authority has been in operation.
What have been the successes and the failures? How has collective
bargaining progressed under the Control Board and in light of the wage
freeze? Please join us for what promises to be an exciting and informative
panel discussion on Thursday, November 18, 2004.
On the panel will be
Dorothy A. Johnson, Executive Director of the Buffalo Fiscal Stability
Authority; Leonard A. Matarese, Commissioner of Human Resources for
the City of Buffalo; Richard Lipsitz, Jr., Business Agent for
Teamsters Local 264; and Lise Gelernter, Professor of Law at the
University of Buffalo Law School. Moderating will be Adam Kaufman,
PERB’s Regional Director.
Free parking is
available at the Fernbach parking ramp on Franklin between Court and
Niagara Streets. You may park here and get your parking voucher at the
meeting.
